A separate phone message, shared in court, captured Ms Wandelt stating: "I realize I'm heavy and not pretty like Madeleine used to be, but I know what I know."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's answerphone expressed: "Suppose there is a tiny probability that I am she? What happens next? Isn't that important for you?"

"I don't want money, I have a living here in Poland, I only wish to know," the message continued.

The panel was advised that through emails, text messages and communications, Ms Wandelt asked for a genetic test, sent early photographs to her phone in a effort to display a likeness to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and claimed to have "memories" from a youth with the McCanns.

The investigator, an intelligence analyst with the police force who compiled the evidence, advised the court there "seemed to lack any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt additionally contacted acquaintances of the McCanns, as per the phone records.

On 9 October 2024, the father picked up a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "incorrect contact information."

During that incident Ms Wandelt left a voicemail on Mrs McCann's voicemail saying "I won't give up and I intend to demonstrate my position."

The court learned Mrs Spragg established a relationship through digital means with Ms Wandelt preceding joining her on a visit to the McCanns' residence in that area in that winter.

Phone records revealed Mrs Spragg had reached out through messaging service to Mrs McCann to express the press had characterized Ms Wandelt as "mentally unstable" but that she ought to be treated respectfully in the period leading up to the visit to that location, Leicestershire, in that winter.
